Day 14 - Coolest character design

Huh.

Well, as much as people hate on Link [and I do too, but shhhhh], I really do like what they did with the SIGN designs. And giving everyone Xth forms [even though in canon I’m screaming OH GAWD NO WHY WHAT IS THIS CRAP NO GO AWAY] was an excuse to make even more pretty designs~

So the one that I’m remembering as oogling over the most was Tsukasa’s Xth form.

Random halo thingers on his feet and staff, but I like it. Even though half of me is raging over the loss of symbolism in changing his colour scheme. But this is easier to colour when I’m drawing too =w=

it’s not canon to save its life. But it’s pretty~

On that note though, if you make me choose a canon design….. hm…
Maybe Endrance then?

First time looking at it, he looks like a giant pansy, and gender is questionable. But after you take into account that this is the same person behind Elk 7 years later, it becomes his own testimony to Mia.
Purple, Blade Brandier is the new BladeMaster class, tried to get the height as tall as she was, Flowers to represent the Aromatic Grass that was left out of R:2, etc etc. And by etc, I mean that I can’t figure out what that silly half-skirt white thing is. That looks more like a mimic of the Temptress Epitaph’s form, but okay.
And of course, Elk’s blue hair to make him recognizable should Mia return to the game. 

So that’s fun. Looking at the conceptual designs for Endrance, looks like none of that was on purpose [they were gunna turn him into a green harvest at one point :\], but reading too deep into the tiniest details is what makes the .hack fandom as entertaining as it is~
